WORKSHOP

Merging statistics and geospatial information - Lessons learned towards INSPIRE
Wednesday, 27 May 2015, 1500 – 1730 hrs

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

The workshop will be part of the sharing the knowledge developed in the National Statistical Institutes (NSI) towards stronger implementation of geographical information together with statistical applications. Workshop presentations will be across several themes – from address registries to population. By the end the attendances should have a good overview of the current state of play of Statistics and GI in respect to INSPIRE and be able to approach the respective organisations. Additionally, a set of issues (lessons learned) will be identified and can be used as guidance for future developments in the European NSIs.

TARGET AUDIENCE

INSPIRE related statistical data providers and users across Europe.
